Toshiba Satellite A660-11m Power Jack Pin or Socket
The laptop will not charge the battery. When the battery power runs out the computer stops working. We repair or replace power sockets where the power pin has broken or has become disconnected from the motherboard. In some cases the power connector makes a poor connection with the Satellite A660-11m jack. This causes arcing which can generate enough heat to melt the Satellite A660-11m dc jack and the power pin may become lose. It is best to get the Toshiba power socket repair before the battery is totally depleted as this can cause permanent damage to the battery.If you get a electrical burning smell from near the power connector then disconnect the adapter immediately. The arcing is burning away the motherboard.

Toshiba Satellite A660-11m LCD Backlight & inverters
The laptop switches on but the screen remains dark. In some cases a faint image is visible on the Satellite A660-11m screen. This problem can be caused by a faulty Satellite A660-11m fluorescent light, inverter, video cable or a problem on the motherboard. Specialist tools are required to determine the exact cause of the fault. Backlights use very high voltages and it is easy to cause damage to the system if they are not correctly handled and installed. Our engineers can replace the backlight lamps in most TFT/LCD screens including the new xbrite panels. We also have access to most backlight inverters and cables.
