Operating system not found errors are usually caused by having a non-bootable CD or floppy in a boot drive. It may also be caused by a faulty Advent hard drive or system board. Remove the external keyboard if the internal keyboard is to be tested. The laptop will not charge the battery. When the battery power runs out the computer stops working.
