Refer to port 378H error code description section to find out which part is causing the problem. Make sure that CPU module, DIMM memory are installed. Check system clock and reset circuit. Do not drop or apply any shock to the Dell hard disk drive. The Sony hard disk drive is sensitive to physical shock. Incorrect handling can cause damage and permanent loss of data on the drive. Before removing the drive, make a backup copy of all the information on the drive if possible. Never remove the drive while the system is operating or is in suspend mode. Audio Failure. No sound from speaker after audio driver is installed. Check if speaker cables are connected properly. Make sure all the drivers are installed properly. Try another known good speaker, CD-ROM. Exchange another known good charger board.

Q. What happens if the cost of repair is higher than the phone quote?

A. There are some cases where a laptop has suffered more damage than the initial telephone diagnosis would suggest. The engineer will call you with his findings and provide you with a revised quote. You have the right to reject the repair. If you collect your laptop from our premises there is absolutely NO CHARGE. 

Q. Do you have a workshop in Holborn?

A. We are based in Harrow (North London), but we do service laptops and supply spare parts for customers all over the UK including Holborn.
