Q. How can you offer a NO FIX - NO FEE service when most companies charge for inspection and engineer time even when they can't repair the laptop?

A. Our aim is to only profit from successful repairs. We are confident that our IBM trained engineers will repair most of the computers we receive at the quoted price. We give you an honest and realistic quote before you send us the laptop. We try to prevent uneconomical and impossible repairs being sent to us - this saves you time and carriage costs. No point in flogging a dead horse.

Q. What happens if my computer develops the same fault during the 90 day warranty period.

A. We have a very low returns rate, about 1 in 50 repairs. With all complex electronics there is a small chance that a fault may recur. We aim to give all warranty jobs top priority and fix the fault quickly. We also reimburse the postage for warranty returns. If the fault can't be repaired then a FULL REFUND will be given for the initial repair and the laptop returned to you.

Replacing the keyboard on a Dell laptop is relatively easy process, do not charge extra for installing keyboards. Great care is necessary when disconnecting the old keyboard, many customer break or damage the connector on the Dell motherboard and this turns into an expensive repair or worse still a motherboard replacement job A lot of new Fujitsu laptops us very thin light-weight ribbon cables. Be careful when openning your laptop as these cable can break easily and are very hard to locate If you suspect that you computer has a faulty fan, switch it off ASAP. Continuing to use the laptop will cause the system to overheat. We have seen extreme examples with the case plastics melting and system board damaged.
