CD-ROM Drive Test Error. An error message is shown when reading data from CD-ROM drive. Try another known good compact disk. Make sure it is install for correctly. Replace CD-ROM drive. The Netbooks keyboard is the main HP interface between you and your CELSIUS H230 laptop. Laptop keyboard faults mainly result from liquid spills, wines/beers are very common, and from wear and tear. Most keyboards have a plastic CELSIUS H230 membrane where contacts are made by pressure on the keys. When liquids enter the membrane the contact points become ineffective. Sometimes keyboards behave normally after a spill but later fail as the CELSIUS H230 contacts are corroded away. In most cases the keypad needs to be replaced. In some cases only second user Sony keypads are available as some manufacturers are reluctant to supply replacement part. Faulty touch pads results in erratic Packard Bell mouse movements. Faults are usually caused by spills, dirt and wear. CELSIUS H230 Clicker buttons can also become faulty. We can replace or repair most faulty touch pads and clicker buttons. Original CELSIUS H230 parts maybe difficult to obtains with certain models. Wiping the Packard Bell surface of the pad with a safe cleaning fluid can resolve some touch pad faults.

The laptop starts up with dots or lines on the bios or intro screen. Graphics are distorted, blocked or pixilated. In some cases the system refuses to boot. Strange effects when windows or mouse are moved on the screen. All these effects can be caused by a faults related to the graphics chips. About 90% of faults can be repaired, the rest are caused by damage to the motherboard and impossible to repair. Fujitsu Celsius H230 Power Jack Pin or Socket
The laptop will not charge the battery. When the battery power runs out the computer stops working. We repair power sockets where the power pin has broken or has become disconnected from the motherboard. In some cases the power connector makes a poor connection with the Celsius H230 jack. This causes arcing which can generate enough heat to melt the Celsius H230 dc jack and the power pin may become lose. It is best to get the Fujitsu power socket repair before the battery is totally depleted as this can cause permanent damage to the battery.

Fujitsu Celsius H230 LCD Backlight & inverters
The laptop switches on but the screen remains dark. In some cases a faint image is visible on the Celsius H230 screen. This problem can be caused by a faulty Celsius H230 fluorescent light, inverter, video cable or a problem on the motherboard. Specialist tools are required to determine the exact cause of the fault. Backlights use very high voltages and it is easy to cause damage to the system if they are not correctly handled and installed. The HP mains adapter converts 240V AC current to 19V DC current which the laptop can use. It is also safer to have a low DC voltage in the laptop than to have 240V AC. Never try to update the PACKARD BELL bios unless absolutely necessary - we see a lot of machines where a mucked up bios upgrade renders the HP motherboard useless. All BIOS upgrades are dangerous and should be avoided. Components are intended to be connected together, usually by soldering to a printed circuit board
