Adding boron makes the silicon become a p-type semiconductor. Don t buy universal power supplies for your laptop. It is easy to reverse the polarity on some models and this will fry the motherboard - a very expensive repair. Never try to update the COMPAQ bios unless absolutely necessary - we see a lot of machines where a mucked up bios upgrade renders the Dell motherboard useless. All BIOS upgrades are dangerous and should be avoided.
