The laptop will not charge the battery. When
the battery power runs out the computer stops working. We repair or
replace power sockets where the power pin has broken or has become
disconnected from the motherboard. In some cases the power connector
makes a poor connection with the Latitude E6400 ATG jack. This causes arcing
which can generate enough heat to melt the Latitude E6400 ATG dc jack and the
power pin may become lose. It is best to get the Dell power socket repair before the battery is totally depleted as this can cause permanent
damage to the battery.

LCD Backlight & inverters
The laptop switches on but the screen
remains dark. In some cases a faint image is visible on the Latitude E6400 ATG

tools are required to determine the exact cause of the fault.
Backlights use very high voltages and it is easy to cause damage to
