Q. Why do you offer a NO FIX - NO FEE service when most other companies charge for running diagnostics and engineer time even when they can't repair the laptop?

A. We are confident that our expert engineers will repair 95% of the laptops we receive at the quoted price. We give you an honest and realistic quote before you send us the laptop. We try to prevent uneconomical and impossible repairs being sent to us - this saves you time and carriage costs. No point in flogging a dead horse.

Q. What is the P&P for sending back the computer?

A. We charge £18 delivery/insurance for laptops being returned to a UK mainland address. We use CityLink Next Day service. You can also arrange for collections from our premises and only pay your own courier service.

Q. How long do repairs take?

A. It really depends on the exact nature of the fault. Most backlights, keyboards, LCDs and broken power socket pins can be repaired in 1-2 days, when parts are in stock, otherwise 4-5 days. Video and motherboard faults usually take 2-5 days because extensive testing is required after repairs. Same day repairs need to be prearranged to ensure that engineer time and parts are allocated for the job - please call.

Q. What happens if my computer develops the same fault during the 90 day warranty period.

A. We have a very low returns rate, about 1 in 50 repairs. With all complex electronics there is a small chance that a fault may recur. We aim to give all warranty jobs top priority and fix the fault quickly. We also reimburse the postage for warranty returns. If the fault can't be repaired then a FULL REFUND will be given for the initial repair and the laptop returned to you. 

Q. Do you have a workshop in Cricklewood?

A. We are based in Harrow (North London), but we do service laptops and supply spare parts for customers all over the UK including Cricklewood.
